With the surge in migrants crossing the border, there has been a spike in unaccompanied children. There are currently bills in progress to strengthen the Voting Rights Act, specifcally the "For the People Act" and the "John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act". On Sunday, March 7th, Biden signed an executive order to improve voter rights, particularly for minorities and individuals with disabilities. According to the White House, they consider this an 'intital step' to then working with Congress to restore the Voting Rights Act.
